Book Club Field Trip
In March, 2024, a few members of our book club attended a Book Discussion/Meet the Author event at Smithfield Public Library hosted by the Johnston County Arts Council. It was part of a two day Native American Immersion Event. We enjoyed meeting the author, hearing about Cherokee history and culture, and the writing of Even as We Breathe by Annette Saunooke Clapsaddle.
