Introducing Librarian Audra! and Whiskey, too!
At long last we were able to coordinate a time in our busy librarian-life schedules to sit down and have a get to know you conversation with our fellow librarian, Audra Morrison. Aimee, Hilda, and Audra sat down after the library closed on day, turned on the microphone, and started chatting. We knew each other as colleagues and have become work friends, but only catch glimpses into each other’s lives outside of library time. We knew Audra is a teacher at Princeton School, we knew she liked to read because of all the books she checks out from the library, and because she asked us to work her shift once, her excuse for absence being that she was “buying a horse”… WOW!… we were given another clue into her life outside of the library.
We had a few general questions prepared for Audra, but our conversation naturally covered most of them and flowed into various topics. Of course we talked about authors and books! Here are a few of them mentioned in this episode…
By the end of our conversation, we had two possible Librarian Field Trips planned, fell in love with a book loving horse named Whiskey, dreamed of revitalizing Princeton’s own Western Town (Yes. We have a one. It should not be such a secret! Imagine the possibilities, we did!!), added items to our life’s adventure Bucket List, and planned our number one travel destination. But most of all, we got to know Librarian Audra more and enjoyed every minute of our conversation– we hope you do, too.
