Pack 23, Princeton

The CUB Scouts are active again in our small town! If you want to know the Princeton history of what is now called Scouting America, formerly Boy Scouts of America, then tune in to this Small Town Stories episode.

Your librarians interviewed life long Princeton resident Chad Talton, current leader of the Cub Scouts, Pack 23, Princeton. We asked Chad about the history of Scouts in Princeton and the surrounding areas. We got to know Chad and his own history as a lifetime Scout. We asked a lot about the Scout program, how it works and what families might expect if they join.

Chad shared that there is good community support, which is necessary to maintaining this program in a small town. Keep a look out on social media for future fundraising events if you would like to continue supporting Pack 23! He spoke of a spaghetti dinner that will be sometime in the spring of 2025, and a popcorn and peanut sale fundraiser for the fall of 2025.
