“This is my dream job!” Ashley Radford

Many residents have heard Ashley say that her new role as Principal at Princeton Elementary School is her “dream job”. Her excitement and passion for PES and the community is evident when you engage her in conversation about her work.

We had to delay our interview a couple of weeks because of school starting and scheduling conflicts, but we were able to sit down with Ashley on September 20th to record the interview. This was the day before the Fall Festival in Downtown Princeton, and our library’s first ever PALS Book Room book sale event. While we were recording, a faithful volunteer was sorting books in the book room. We enjoyed getting to know Ashley more and to also learn more about PES. We discussed how school has changed over the years, and programs going on at school, the needs of our local children and families, and how to become a volunteer.
